Strategy

Set up Kite Connect by creating an API app on the Zerodha developer portal. Enter your API Key and API Secret in GoCharting’s settings. Generate a fresh access token each morning before market open. Test the complete order flow (entry, SL, target) with a small test trade first.

Common Mistakes

Do not use Kite Connect tokens from the previous day — they expire daily and must be refreshed. Avoid placing orders without confirming the exchange and product type match your intended trade. Do not enable live Kite Connect integration without thoroughly testing in Zerodha’s sandbox environment first.
